How Did Your Pumpkin Grow?

The Algoma Farmer’s Market will be holding their Annual Pumpkin Weigh Off on Saturday October 5, 2024, at the Roberta Bondar Pavilion. If you grew a giant pumpkin this year, please bring it to the Pavilion parking lot to be weighed. Participants can start bringing their pumpkins at 11:00 am with the Weigh-off beginning at 12:00 pm. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place.

Prizes will also be awarded for the largest Zucchini and Sunflower head. Participants can begin bringing their zucchinis and sunflowers at 9:00 am with the competition beginning at 11:30 am.

The Sault Ste. Marie Public Library will be offering a storytime and crafts starting at 10:30 am.

Come out and see who has the biggest pumpkin of 2024!
