Shutterbugs Photography for Kids
This program for kids ages 9 - 13 will cover digital photography basics in a five week workshop series. Participants will learn how to properly use and care for Digital SLR Cameras and studio-grade photography equipment.
By the end of the five weeks, kids in the Shutterbugs workshop series will have developed skills on the fundamentals of composition and manual exposure. They will be able to recognize how, why and when to use a tripod and studio lighting. Participants will also have a chance to take portraits, landscape and nature photographs.
This workshop may involve going outside of the library.
Participants 10 years old or younger require a parent or guardian to remain in the building.
Space is limited to 10 positions. Registration opens Thursday June 21, 2018.
