Poetry Circle North

You are invited to join us for Poetry Circle North at the James L. McIntyre Centennial Library, 50 East Street.

As Canadian poet Molly Peacock said, poetry circles are “divinely slow in a hurtling world.”

Are you new to poetry? Or have you appreciated the genre throughout the years?

Bring one or two of your favourite poems to share, or simply come by to listen. Discover together the meaning and mystery of poetry’s words, thoughts, and emotions.

This event will take place in the Computer Commons Room on Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2018 from 7 - 8:30 p.m.  The group will continue to meet regularly on the last Wednesday of each month through to May.

This is a free program, but space is limited. To register, please call the Reference & Information Desk at 705-759-5236.
