Sault Ste. Marie Public Library Hosts Dementia Caregiver Night

Join the Sault Ste. Marie Public Library, the Ontario Caregiver Organization, the Alzheimer Society and special guest author Fay Martin for an informative and educational evening for caregivers. Presentations by Absaar Mohammed of the Alzheimer Society and Stephane Giroux of The Ontario Caregiver Organization will be followed with a talk by Fay Martin, author of the memoir ‘Dementia Widow.’ A panel discussion will wrap up the evening, providing an opportunity for attendees to ask questions and converse with our presenters. Whether you are currently a caregiver, preparing for the future or would like to hear Fay Martin speak about ‘Dementia Widow,’ plan to attend the Dementia Caregiver Night! This free program will be held September 21st, 2026, from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at the James L. McIntyre Centennial Library, 50 East Street. This is a drop-in program, and no registration is required.
