Growing Native Plants Through Winter Sowing in Containers

Think early March is too cold to garden? Think again!

Join the Sault Ste. Marie Public Library and Clean North for a hands-on introduction to growing native plants through winter sowing in containers.  Participants will sow a container (with one of several species of native plants that bees and butterflies love) and take it home!  Workshop hosts are Clean North's Abby Obenchain and Bill Cole.

This program runs Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at the James L. McIntyre Centennial Library, 50 East Street.  There is no charge to attend, and all supplies are provided.

Space is limited, and registration is required.  To register, please contact the Reference and Information Desk at 705-759-5236 or sign up on Eventbrite: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/1976048871368
