Summer Reading Challenges at the SSMPL

Summer Reading Challenges at the SSMPL The Sault Ste. Marie Public Library invites those that enjoy a summer challenge to take part in one of our two reading challenges. This year we have the Forage for Summer Reads challenge for adults and a Books versus Babies interactive reading challenge for those between 12 and 18 years of age.
The Forage for Summer Reads challenge asks participants to forage for some reads that meet themed prompts.
Books versus Babies is an interactive game, where players complete challenges to build a monster to defeat a baby army. Click HERE for game instructions! Both summer challenges begin on July 1, 2026, and run until August 31, 2026. If you are up for a challenge this summer, visit either the James L. McIntyre Centennial Library or North Branch to pick up your challenge cards today.
