Book Clubs at the Sault Ste. Marie Public Library

Make plans to join a book club this fall! The James L. McIntyre Centennial Library is hosting three book clubs running from September to December 2026.

Two sessions of 'The Tuesday Book Club' will meet on the third Tuesday of each month. (Morning session from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.; afternoon session from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.)

The Tuesday Book Club Meeting Dates:

September 15th
Book Club A – Morning Session: Foe by Iain Reid
Book Club B – Afternoon Session: The Measure by Nikki Erlick

October 20th 
Book Club A – Morning Session: Yesteryear by Caro Claire Burke
Book Club B – Afternoon Session: The Good Eye by Jess Gibson

November 17th
Book Club A – Morning Session: The Measure by Nikki Erlick
Book Club B – Afternoon Session: Foe by Iain Reid

December 15th
Book Club A – Morning Session: The Good Eye by Jess Gibson
Book Club B – Afternoon Session: Yesteryear by Caro Claire Burke

The Mystery & Suspense Book Club will meet on the second Wednesday of each month from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. 

The Mystery Book Club Meeting Dates:

September 9th – The One Day You Were My Husband by Rosie Walsh
October 14th – A History of Wild Places by Shea Ernshaw
November 18th – The Last Murder at the End of the World by Stuart Turton
December 9th – A Daughter of Fair Verona by Christina Dodd

Registration for all book clubs will be available online starting Wednesday, August 12th, 2026, at 9 a.m. Cost is $25.00 per person. You must have an active Sault Ste. Marie Public Library card in order to participate.

Anyone who does not wish to register and pay online must register and pay in-person at the James L. McIntyre Centennial Library, 50 East Street, at the Reference and Information Desk.
