Borrow eBooks, audiobooks, and more – anywhere, anytime. All you need is a valid library card. Overdrive includes popular and classic fiction, non-fiction, videos, and audiobooks that you can download, stream to read, view, or listen on your computer or mobile device.

Did You Know . . . ?

  • Materials are available for children, teens and adults.
  • Materials are checked out to you for 7 or 14 days and are automatically returned. You can also return items early.
  • You can have up to 10 items checked out at one time.
  • You can place a hold on any item that is currently in use and you will receive an email notice when the title becomes available.
  • Overdrive has no overdue fines.

Zinio eMagazines
Using Zinio, you can access new issues of popular magazines to read on your computer, tablet, or smartphone using a valid library card.

Did You Know . . . ?

  • Once you create a Zinio account you can borrow magazines in the library’s collection for free, or you can purchase subscriptions to magazines not in the SSMPL collection. 
  • Zinio has magazines for adults, teens, and children.
  • There is no limit to the number of magazines that you can check out. Find your magazines under the My Collection tab.
  • There are no due dates or fines – you can keep the magazines on your device for as long as you like.
  • You have the option to be notified when the next issue of your favourite magazine becomes available.
